Wilmorite’s Security Division is responsible for a combination of life-safety programs and protective services. Wilmorite provides security services to office complexes, residential and retail settings. Security personnel regularly perform safety checks and maintain fire and safety equipment, while providing a secure and friendly environment for shoppers, tenants, residents, and co-workers.
Several of the officers are retired members of the law enforcement community and all of the officers undergo a demanding selection and training process. Wilmorite maintains its own New York State-certified Security Guard Training School and there are a number of certified instructors on staff available to further enhance its professionalism and to meet its on-going training needs.
The department works very closely with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. Communication among all levels is paramount and any terrorism concerns are relayed to all of Wilmorite’s properties within minutes of being notified by the federal government.
