In a working partnership with the Rochester Institute of Technology, this $75m project will represent a true mixed-use development capitalizing on two of Wilmorite's core competencies in retail shopping centers and student houisng.  60 acres in the northeast corner of the RIT campus have been designated for this unique and exciting student environment, which will consist of approximately 80,000 square feet of retail space and 924 beds. 

Park Point at RIT is a combination of apartment-style housing, dining, shopping, and recreational amenities.  The site plan depicts a true college-town neighborhood, anchored of a two-story Barnes & Noble campus bookstore, two mixed-use buildings, and two freestanding retail properties.

The proposed housing design accounts for a well-mixed distribution of 1 to 5 bedroom apartments that accommodate a wide range of housing requirements and requests. These units are also designed to specifically accommodate current student needs and lifestyles. Each apartment will have a living/dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry closet, cable TV and high-speed data connections.

Construction has begun and Park Point is on schedule to open in August of 2008. Wilmorite will begin pre-leasing apartments in the Winter of 2007.
